Blaze of Glory - Philly
Was this not cool or what!?!!! Now Bon Jovi is the only band I will actually buy a CD of. I will download music of other artists, but not buy anyones CD. But Daughtry is totally cool, so I did buy his CD. When I was at both of the Philly shows and heard him sing with Bon Jovi on this song. I was thrilled. I just thought that was totally cool! Daughtry was the best opening act EVER that Bon Jovi had. You gotta check out the video!!
Living in Sin

My Mini Bon Jovi Tour - Oct/Nov 2007
So there it was a lifetime opportunity! Bon Jovi playing 10 shows in a row. Right in my home state! There was no question if I was going to go to all 10. So, I gathered my money from my savings account. What I like to call the Bon Jovi fund. The tickets cost me $1,183.65. Parking was $250.00. Gas, which was much cheaper at the time, cost $220.00. And tolls were $57.35. For a grand total of $1,711.00! Going to all 10 shows: Priceless!! :-) Was it worth it? Heck, yeah!!!!! I would do it again in a heartbeat! Besides somebody has to help Jon put his kids through college. LOL I could not wait until the first night. I can't explain my excitement. I've always wanted to see multiple Bon Jovi shows in a row. The most before this, I saw them 3 times in a couple days. But this was a dream come true! 10 shows! 10 shows! That was like Bon Jovi overload!!So, my adventure started on October 25, 2008. I worked at my job in Atlantic City until 3:00. I headed up to Newark, New Jersey and arrived there around 6:15. That night was tough it was raining so hard. And visibility was very bad. I could hardly see the road. But I made it there! And the night was amazing! Bon Jovi gave a great performance and I could see this was going to be amazing run. It started off to a great start. But then again it is Bon Jovi! :-) I even had a sign which I brought with me every night. One of my coworkers in the graphic department made me a poster size sign. It said, "I'm Going To All 10 Bon Jovi Shows." And I proudly held it up each and every night. I wanted Jon to know I was there every night to support the band. The next night was just as good if not better. And the night after that and so on. I had the time of my life!
Now I was pretty much focused on going to these concerts. For 2 and a half week span it pretty much went like this. Work, drive, Bon Jovi, drive, sleep. Repeat!! But there was one event thrown into this mixture. It was one of my best friend's, Ashley, wedding. I wish she had checked Bon Jovi's tour schedule before she finalized the date of her wedding. And I did ask her to change the date, but she said no. That's life, I guess. I knew I couldn't miss Ashley's wedding, even though she said she would understand. It's Bon Jovi and she knows how crazy I am about them. But I said no, I will be at your wed
As the shows were finally coming to an end. I was a little sad. Didn't want to see it end. I knew it wouldn't be the last I would see Bon Jovi. It just an amazing time for me. By the way, I had another sign made for the finale night. It said: "I Went To All 10 Bon Jovi Shows"! I even took a photo every night at the Verizon booth. So, I have a souvineer from each night. Each and every night was great! It was kind of like a mini vacation for me. I don't know if they will do another 10 nights at the same place. But I can promise you I will be attending each one!!
Bon Jovi Forever!!!!
Have a Nice Day!
Okay, so Bon Jovi was going to play at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey on February 4, 2006. Of course, I was going to be there. One it was Bon Jovi and two it was my home town they were coming too!! I was so excited about the show. Anyway, as I was driving on the Atlantic City Expressway into Atlantic City. I passed this sign that says "Have a Nice Day." Now I have probably passed the sign a million times coming into Atlantic City. But when I saw it this time something hit me. I had a great idea that came to me. I wanted to put a sticker of the album cover on the sign. I mean the album was called Have a Nice Day!! I thought it would look so cool up there. Especially right before the concert. So, when the band and fans came into the city for they concert, they would see it. The next day I went on eBay and found someone who custom made these stickers. It would last 8 years in all kinds of weather. I had to figure out the perfect date to put it up. I didn't want to put it up to early. Because the city might take it down before the show. So, I decided to go on January 26, 2008 around 12:30 in the morning. I got a friend of mine to go with me to drive the getaway car. However, I can not post her name. She doesn't want anyone to know she helped me do this. She has made me promise to never reveal her name. Anyway, we drove up to the sign. I pulled out a latter from her car and stuck the sticker right on there! She kept telling me to hurry up. But I had to get it right. Especially when you have OCD. I wanted it to look perfect. As I finished I put the latter back in the car. My friend yells to me, let's go! And I told her I had to take a picture of it. So, I took my picture and we left.
I was so happy it was up there in time for the concert. It actually stayed up there for 2 years before they got rid of the sign all together. I think they should have left the sign up. It was cool!
